Background
As an early stage startup, communicating Palatial's mission, vision, market, and go to market plans to investors and convincing them to get behind our idea was critical to the survival of the business.
What I did
Throughout hundreds of pitches, meetings, and coffees, I shaped how we communicated Palatial's story through feedback from VCs, angel investors, and fellow founders.

My cofounder and I pitched to angel investors like Googe's VP of Ads and partners at VCs like Lightspeed and A16Z, this deck has been viewed 1,000+ times and was used in the process of a $1M+ pre-seed raise.
Process
Failing fast, learning fast

Putting together a deck that succinctly communicated Palatial's vision, and more importantly, piqued investor interest, was an iterative labour of love. Throughout most of 2023, I asked (begged) other founders, investors, friends, and family for feedback, refining Palatial's story one coffee chat at a time.

Early on, it became apparent that 1) wording is critical (spatial computing, not metaverse), 2) most of our audience was non-technical, and 3) as long as future projections can be backed by believable numbers, anything goes.
